We live in a time of great apostasy, which means that there are a great many undiscerning pastors who will abuse their positions for nefarious ends––all while thinking they are doing the Lord’s work. They will use deceptive and manipulative tactics to get their congregants to fall in line, or else.

As many may already know, I was put through such a situation not too long ago. Below is the full transcript of the initial interaction with two of my former elders over Facebook Messenger, in which they deploy all manner of manipulative practices to try to guilt me into “confessing” that I had sinned in my criticism of other SBC pastors.

I post this in the hopes that it will give encouragement and instruction to other faithful brothers who may be growing weary under the weight of similar attacks.
